The UI-5880CP Rev. 2 GigE CMOS camera with the 1/1.8" rolling shutter CMOS sensor Sony IMX178 offers an extremely high resolution of 6.4 MP (3088 x 2076 px, aspect ratio 3:2), which is ideal for visualization tasks in microscopy or as a cost-conscious option for intelligent traffic systems (ITS).
The sensor from the Sony STARVIS series features BSI technology ("back-side-illumination") and is one of the most light-sensitive sensors with a low dark current close to the SCMOS range (Scientific CMOS). It can be exposed for up to 120 seconds and also produces impressive results even in extremely low starlight. Together with our GigE industrial cameras, the Sony IMX178 delivers frame rates of up to 18 fps at full resolution. Thanks to the 1/1.8" sensor size, a wide selection of C-mount lenses is available for the UI-5880CP Rev. 2 GigE camera model.
Incredibly fast, incredibly reliable, incredible sensors: the uEye CP stands for "Compact Power" and is the tiny powerhouse for industrial applications of all kinds.
It offers maximum functionality with extensive pixel pre-processing and, thanks to the internal 120 MB image memory, is also perfectly suited for multi-camera systems. The cameras deliver data at full GigE speed and, thanks to PoE ("Power over Ethernet"), also enable single-cable operation up to 100 meters.
Users can choose from a large number of modern CMOS sensors from manufacturers such as Sony, CMOSIS, e2v, and ON Semiconductor with different resolutions.
