Description

The Model R137 optical incremental encoder is designed for industrial-grade applications
requiring high resolution in a small package. Mechanical features are as follows:
- 37 mm dia x 37 mm long body; shielded cable; sealed to IP66 (IP 64 at shaft exit).
- LED illumination for long life (>100,000 hours)
- Differential photo-detectors for signal stability
- Single-board, surface-mount electronics for reliability
- RS-422 differential line driver output for noise immunity
- Zero index signal
- Sealed bearings for contamination resistance
- Monolithic integrated ASIC for internally interpolated resolutions up to 180,000 cycles/rev

- Optional Fault detection signal for resolutions of 360k & 720k counts/rev
