Description

The optical HSD25 hollow shaft rotary encoder with up to 19.05 mm shaft diameter will work reliably within a temperature range from -40°C to +100°C. This type of rotary encoder with its hard anodised housing outlet exceeds the requirements of IP66/IP67 nd NEMA 6. By employing a state-of-the-art opto-ASIC, the rotary encoder is resistant to shocks and vibrations. The HSD25 rotary encoder can easily be installed in conjunction with motors and thus provides reliable feedback signals even in tough ambient conditions. The HSD25 series of rotary encoders also includes intrinsically safe ATEX variants for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.
